How is business going so far with Round 2 Transportation?

Round 2 Transportation (R2T) started motorcoach operations on April 1, 2025. We started with two 2026 motorcoaches and are thankful for the slow start. This has allowed us to fine tune our operations:

• Legacy drivers that were contract labor are now coming on as full time employees. I didn’t want any drivers to take a pay cut by coming to R2T. Since the word is out that I am back in business, I now have enough work for them to come on full time.
• Operating software – trying to offer best in class experience for our customers and being to fine tune our operations software so that clients receive real time updates, bus tracking capability, and a robust client portal are just a few ways that we are making sure to our customers have the best experience.
• Bus parking – parking our buses are MCI has proved to be useful. MCI is centrally located, has onsite certified mechanics, and an onsite wash crew. This has been a value add as we grow.
• Customers – we started in historically one of the slower periods of the year. However, we have had serval summer camps that transitioned their business to us that has kept us busy. We could use more corporate business, but I think that the majority of operators are wanting the same.

Additional coaches – with the pick up of serval legacy high school accounts that we have for many years, our fall calendar is looking good. The additional coaches will allow us to handle reservations in house versus having to subcontract. With the latest fleet in the DFW area, additional clients will be onboarded.

Also, getting verified as a new business with google has proved to be more challenging than I remember. We just got verified last week and will soon be starting a google ad words campaign. While some operators pay close attention to their ad words account, most do not. We are expecting more corporate and school pick up with these ads.
