Our Journey: The Road to excellence
R2T traces its roots to the visionary Wynne family of Texas—a name distinguished by accomplishments in oil, gas, law, and hospitality. Over the past seventy-five years, the Wynne family has built a legacy of innovation, from founding one of the largest independent oil and gas exploration firms in the U.S. to helping establish the ‘Six Flags Over Texas’ theme parks and co-founding the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys franchise. Their entrepreneurial spirit also inspired iconic developments like the Texas Pavilion at the New York World’s Fair, the Le Méridien Hotel in Dallas, and the Bangkok and Malta Hilton Hotels.
In the winter of 1986, the family expanded into ground transportation, forming Wynne as a specialty vehicle lease management company serving limousine and sedan operators in the Dallas–Fort Worth region. By 2008, after acquiring Priority One Motor Coaches and its late-model Van Hool fleet, the company broadened its services to include high school and collegiate travel, corporate events, and major sports team charters. Fueled by unwavering dedication to safety, reliability, and high-quality service, operations continued to grow—culminating in recognition as LCT Magazine’s “Motorcoach Operator of the Year” in 2016. Today, this venture has evolved into R2T, proudly serving Dallas–Fort Worth and beyond, upholding a legacy of bold vision, innovation, and an unshakeable commitment to making every ride an exceptional experience.
